Ive always wanted to be a maggie bride and they have some styles i like online, but not how i always imagined my dress to be, im going to the bridal shop anyway; But where can i find these type of dresses?
I want a ball gown, with a scalloped or sweetheart neckline – - only in white.
Where can i find something like this? Price isn’t an issue.

Since you know what you want, go into any privately owned (not a chain store) bridal boutique and describe what you are looking for. The sales people are usually very well training and know their stock … so they will be able to pull dresses that fit your description.

I find that the smaller stores offer MUCH better service than the bigger stores. Many large “warehouse” type stores don’t offer much service so you spend hours pouring through racks trying to find what you want on your own …. and after looking at 50 dresses on the hanger they all start to look the same.

With smaller stores the sales people know their stock and can give you great suggestions/advice.

My best advice is to try on everything they suggest! They know dresses and they know body types and they want to make you happy. Even if you think “that’s not what I had in mind” when you see it on the hanger, try it on anyway, it could be PERFECT on your body. I was really anti-mermaid style because I am short, but a sales person was really insistent I try one on … I fell in LOVE with the style (not that exact dress) and now I am having a mermaid style gown made for me for my wedding.

GOod Luck!

Any bridal shop should have the kind of dress you are looking for. They carry a variety of styles. Alot of times, if you find a dress you like but it isn’t exactly what you want, you can look in their catalog and find an alternative. Like, if you try on a dress and say, “Gosh this would be perfect if only the neckline were a little different.” The catalog might have the exact same dress with different necklines. Also, depending on what the not-so-perfect thing is, the designers sometimes have options you can customize. Adjusting the length of the train, for example is almost always customizable.

click more search options

here is the link to stores that carry her collection

if you can’t find anything you like with Maggie, you may want to check with Sophia Tolli as well
I have heard she used to design for Maggie Sottero but then started her own company. Personally I don’t like her designs quite as much, but perhaps you will.

Best of luck!
