If you work with a wholesaler, they may be able to get you some great deals on arrangements and bouquets, as well as offer up complimentary seasonal flower selections to work with your overall theme or bridesmaids dress choices. 

As for types of flowers, there are a ton of options, but here are a few of my favorites that I find to be just beautiful, as well as fitting to the season that you are holding your wedding in:

Tulips
Roses
Stargazer Lilies
Peonies
Sweet Peas
Pink Lilac
Peruvian Lilies
Dahlias
Daisies
Gladiolas
Freesia
Hydrangea
Hibiscus
Carnations
