I’m beginning the process of planning my wedding and have no idea where to start! I was wondering if anybody knew of a good website that has a complete checklist. One that starts with the very first thing you do and ends with the last thing you do. I’d really appreciate it!! =)

Go to theknot.com
I used it a lot when I got married!
Hi
Those website are going to try to get you to get a
Wedding Planner. So watch out, unless you can afford one.
Start by buying wedding magazines they cover not just dresses but everything and more than likely there will be a article or two with check list.
Definitely either theknot.com or weddingchannel.com
I also just found a site that has come in handy recently called weddingwire.com. This has been great in regards to the guest list and an interactive seating chart.
They have some great planning tools…the best part is it’s all for free.
Definitely go to theknot.com. It’s free, and there is so much info to answer your questions about just about everything. And go to a bookstore and pick up one of those big wedding planner binders to keep everything organized, because you will be surprised at how much info you gather about weddings and vendors in a few months.
First of all congratulations on your engagement … now let the stress begin!
1. theknot.com is a great place to start a guest list. You can enter all the guests you want to add and then export it into an excel spreadsheet (excel will be your best friend as a bride) and customize it according to your needs.
fyi – as soon as i hear about a friend getting engaged, i tell them to immediately go to the book store and look for the Bridal Bargains Book. This is the only book that will actually be of help to you, unlike all the bridal magazines that sugar coat wedding planning with romance and fairy tales. Here’s the link:

If you are going to use a website, stick with one site. Sometimes we tend to use several and end up confuse. I recommend to my friends there are plenty out there. you also want to get a binder so you can print out the pages and save them.
