Sudden rash appeared under wedding rings?

I have been wearing my wedding rings for nearly four years. The last two weeks there is a small rash underneath them on one side of my finger only. Like several tiny pin-sized blisters that are red and irritated. Could I possibly be having an alergic reaction to the white gold after nearly 4 years? There is not a rash like that anywhere else.
