cupcake?? asked:
“To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part”
How can these vows made during a Christian marriage service help a couple to live their married life?
what does each line represent?

I’m not usually one to say this, but wrong section! haha. Go to R&S.
It is a commitment they make to each other. There may be times that things are good and times when things are bad..That’s when they need each other the most. Sickness and in Health is self explanatory. To love and cherish each, so there is no other. Two hearts shall beat as one. They make a commitment not only in front of God, but family and friends.. they go through the good and bad together.. I applaud those who have been married for 50+ years.
